Cast
The cast of Saturday Night Live is the only reason this show is what it is today. All the members are professionally trained in improvision, which is perfect for a live show. And in a normal show, if you forget your lines or mess up, you can just re-shoot that segment or do it again. But in a live show, once you say or do something, millions of people have just seen or heard it and there's no taking it back. Sometimes they have whole skits that are just improvision and the cast has to come up with it as they go.
